Terms & Conditions

Last updated: November 5, 2026

These Terms and Conditions («Terms») govern access to and use of the Calli platform, including the iOS and Android mobile application, the calli.website website, and related services. By registering, downloading the app, or using Calli, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Acceptance and incorporated documents

The agreement between you and the operator of Calli («we», «Calli», or «the Platform») consists of these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Cookie Policy.

Additional rules published within the app (e.g., community regulations) supplement these Terms when you participate in that context.

2. Definitions

  • User: any person with a Calli account.
  • Customer or resident: requests on-demand services or uses residential features.
  • Worker, provider or service provider: a person who, on their own account and as an independent provider, offers services through the Platform and may receive payouts via Stripe Connect.
  • Community or residential: gated community, condominium, or neighborhood using admin, treasury, or security modules.
  • Community administrator / treasurer: authorized user managing members, finances, or announcements.
  • Service: job request, payment, access, communication, or other in-app functionality.

3. Eligibility, account, and security

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to contract. Registration information must be accurate and kept up to date.

You are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and all activity on your account. Report unauthorized use promptly to soporte@calli.website.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, the law, or others' safety, with or without prior notice depending on severity.

For service providers, an account may only be suspended or closed for the causes set out in these Terms or the law (for example, false documents, fraud, violence or a risk to the safety of others). You will be notified in writing with the specific reason, and you may ask a person on the Calli team to review the decision by writing to soporte@calli.website. No account is closed automatically because of ratings.

4. Nature of the Platform

Calli acts as a technology intermediary connecting customers with independent workers and, where applicable, providing tools for residential communities and access control.

Calli does not assign jobs or distribute requests: it notifies every request to the providers of that service in the area or community, each provider decides whether to respond and how much to charge, and the customer chooses. Calli does not set schedules or shifts, does not instruct how the work is done and does not supervise its performance.

Unless expressly stated in writing, Calli is not the employer of workers, does not directly perform home services (plumbing, electrical, car wash, etc.), and is not the legal administrator of your community. Workers are independent providers responsible for their conduct, licenses, and compliance.

Residential communities and their administrators are responsible for internal rules, maintenance charges, and access decisions.

5. On-demand services

5.1 Customers

When requesting a service you:

  • Provide location and data needed for the worker to travel and perform the job.
  • Agree to pay the agreed or displayed price, plus applicable taxes or fees.
  • Must be present or authorize worker access per your community's rules.
  • May rate the worker after completion; ratings must be honest and respectful.

5.2 Independent service providers

When offering services you act on your own account, as an independent provider. Calli is not your employer, and you are not an employee of Calli or of the customers or communities you serve, unless you and they expressly agree so in writing.

On Calli you:

  • Decide when you work: whether you receive alerts about new requests (you can pause them at any time in the app), which ones you respond to, and on which days and hours you provide services. Calli does not assign you jobs, shifts or schedules.
  • Set or quote your own price. Contracts with communities are proposed by you, with the day, time and price you decide; the community only accepts or declines them.
  • May ignore or decline requests and decline a visit without any penalty. You may end a contract with a community or stop serving it at any time; work already done is paid as agreed.
  • Decide how you do the work and provide your own tools, transport and, unless agreed otherwise with the customer, materials. Calli does not require uniforms, badges or exclusivity: you may work with other customers, communities and platforms.
  • Customer ratings are informational only: Calli does not use them to assign, rank or block accounts automatically.
  • Your location is used to show you requests within the radius you choose and to compute the distance and the per-kilometer travel cost you set. It is not used to supervise how you work.
  • Represent that you have the skills, permits, degrees or licenses required by law for your trade.
  • Are responsible for your own tax and social security obligations as an independent provider (for example, you may voluntarily enroll with IMSS as an independent worker), without prejudice to any withholding the law requires Calli to make.
  • Are the provider of the service to the customer: you disclose the total price before starting and give a receipt for the work, as required by the Federal Consumer Protection Law.
  • Keep your Stripe Connect account active if you want to receive card payments.
  • Must not abuse cancellations or discriminate against customers on prohibited grounds.

5.3 Communities that contract services

Recurring contracts between a community and a provider are proposed by the provider; the community accepts or declines them. They are service contracts between them; Calli only provides the tool to propose, accept, log visits and pay.

  • The community decides whether to accept the provider's proposal, but does not change its terms. It does not instruct how the work is done, and does not impose working hours, an employee schedule, uniforms, exclusivity or penalties other than those agreed.
  • If the community needs a person with a fixed schedule, every day and under its instructions, that is an employment relationship: it must hire that person as an employee and meet the obligations the law places on employers, including social security. Calli does not run payroll.
  • If the provider is a company with its own staff, the community must verify that it meets its labor and social security obligations; the law may make the contracting party jointly liable.

5.4 Cancellations and disputes

Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund policies are shown in the app by service type and status. Approved refunds are processed through Stripe per processor timelines.

Calli may mediate disputes in good faith, but outcomes may depend on evidence from the parties and applicable payment rules.

6. Payments, fees, and billing

Card payments and transfers are primarily processed through Stripe. You accept Stripe's terms when adding a payment method or activating Stripe Connect.

  • Calli may charge commissions, service fees, or withholdings disclosed before you confirm a payment.
  • Workers receive net payouts per Stripe's schedule and applicable deductions.
  • The commission Calli charges providers is the price of its intermediation and payment-collection services: it is shown before you accept each service and can be reviewed under Earnings. When a service is paid in cash, the provider pays that commission afterwards; if pending commissions reach the limit shown in the app, only applying to new requests is paused until they are settled.
  • In residential mode, maintenance fees, SPEI, CFDI, and tax data are the community administrator's responsibility; Calli provides the tool, not accounting or tax advice.
  • You are responsible for providing correct tax information when required by law.

7. Residential communities

By joining a community via invite code or administrator authorization, you agree to comply with internal regulations and treasury rules published in the app.

  • Administrators and treasurers are responsible for accuracy of charges, budgets, and uploaded receipts (including AI-assisted receipt reading).
  • Non-payment may trigger physical access restrictions synced with control systems (HikCentral), per community configuration.
  • Leaving a community may deactivate access credentials; financial history may be retained per the Privacy Policy.

8. Security and access control

When your community enables the security modules, access control, cameras and the intercom may be operated by its own administration or by a private security company it contracts.

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of the visitor and guest data you register.
  • QR passes and credentials are personal or temporary; you must not share them or use them for fraudulent purposes.
  • The security company contracted by your community may, for the communities assigned to it, open doors remotely, view cameras, answer the intercom and manage credentials. All such activity is recorded in an audit trail tied to the person who performed it.
  • Security company staff may receive their own physical credential to enter the premises for installation, maintenance or surveillance work. When their relationship with the company ends, that credential is removed.
  • Enrolling biometric data (face or fingerprint) on physical readers is voluntary and requires your express written consent, obtained separately. Alternative access methods such as card, QR code or PIN will always be available.
  • Camera and intercom monitoring must comply with the community’s internal rules and with applicable law on video surveillance and data protection.
  • Calli provides the platform; it does not provide the guarding service and is not accountable for the conduct of the staff of the security company your community contracts.
  • Calli does not guarantee continuous availability of the hardware, connectivity or third-party services on which access control depends.

9. Prohibited conduct

You may not:

  • Use the Platform for illegal activity, harassment, fraud, or impersonation.
  • Manipulate ratings, pricing, or access systems.
  • Scrape data at scale, interfere with infrastructure, or bypass security measures.
  • Upload malware, defamatory content, or material that infringes third-party rights.
  • Use the app while suspended or with arrears that trigger access restrictions in your community.

10. Intellectual property

Calli, its brand, design, code, and proprietary content are protected by intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the app under these Terms.

Content you upload (photos, messages, receipts) remains yours; you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to operate the Platform (store, display, process with AI for receipt categorization, etc.).

11. Third-party services

The Platform integrates third-party services (Stripe, Google, Firebase, HikCentral, Google Maps/Gemini, among others). Use may be subject to their additional terms. Calli does not control or guarantee third-party services.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Platform is provided «as is» and «as available». To the extent permitted by Mexican law, Calli does not guarantee specific outcomes from workers or uninterrupted operation.

Calli is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or data loss, except for willful misconduct or gross negligence directly attributable to Calli.

Calli's total cumulative liability to you for any claim related to these Terms shall not exceed the fees you paid to Calli for Platform commissions in the twelve (12) months before the event, or one hundred US dollars (USD $100), whichever is greater, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

13. Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold harmless Calli, its affiliates, and personnel against third-party claims arising from your use of the Platform, breach of these Terms, services you perform as a worker, or decisions you make as a community administrator.

14. Changes and termination

We may modify these Terms by publishing the updated version on calli.website. Continued use after they take effect constitutes acceptance, unless you cancel your account if you disagree.

You may stop using the app and request account deactivation from the app or by emailing soporte@calli.website. Deactivation does not automatically delete all data; see the Privacy Policy.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. Any dispute shall be submitted to the competent courts of Mexico City, waiving any other venue that may apply, except non-waivable consumer rights under applicable law.

If you use Calli as a consumer, mandatory provisions of Mexico's Federal Consumer Protection Law may apply.
